The Norfolk Arena in Kings Lynn played host to the first round of the British Shorttrack Championship last weekend (26/04/08) with Team Suzuki’s Peter Boast showing the way yet again.
Despite a cold and windy evening, Boast on his RM-Z450 competing in the Silkolene Shorttrack class, showed the rest of the field how it’s done, taking the lead in the grand final from start to finish to take the overall win.
Also competing in the Thunderbike class on a special SV650 based bike, Boast repeated his performance, sweeping to victory yet again.
Talking after the event, Pete commented, “What a great start to the season. I’ve had a few setbacks over the winter, but it’s great to put them behind me and start the season in right way. I’m looking forward to continuing the success as the season moves on.”
With a great start to the championship Peter will go into round two at Amman Valley in June, with a four point advantage.
